Transit Lounge publishes good looking books from writers in touch with the world. Our primary focus is great writing by emerging and established writers, from both Australia and elsewhere, across all genres.

What we are looking for right now:

Great travel writing preferably focussed on one country. It needs to be more than simply a diary of your travels. Our preference is for a sustained narrative so that the reader can immerse him/herself in another culture and your experience of it.

Book length non-fiction works that canvass any of our diverse interests: landscape and environment, popular culture, alternative music, design, personal development, literature − and the list goes on!

Email us your completed manuscript, along with a synopsis, and a short author’s bio, all in Word .doc format or alternatively post your manuscript in hard copy format. Hard copy submissions must include a SSAE.

Manuscripts submitted to Transit Lounge will not receive critical feedback.
